Using Scripture, biblical teaching, interviews, and personal stories, Gladys Rempel presents the hope of the Gospel on our newest Low German partnership program, Een scheenet Läwen (A Good Life). While her main audience is women, Gladys encourages and inspires all people with her Good News message. The programs are about 15 minutes long and will release weekly on YouTube, beginning in June.
Grant Hoeppner, technical producer, is pleased to partner with Gladys. “She has an existing audience and already knows how to communicate with them. What we can do is bring added production value to her programs so she can focus on the content, and not worry about the technical details.”
Gladys appreciates the feedback from the pilot episode produced at Square One. “If we want to reach the next generation, we have to be professional, excellent, and relevant,” she says. “That's what I believe I'm able to do as I partner with Square One.”
In August, 2020, Eduard Giesbrecht of Bolivia invited fellow Low German video producer, Gladys Rempel, to speak on 3 episodes of Ekj Ran (Run the Race). Many viewers responded to Gladys and her story: how she trusted in God even when her husband left her and their four children. She moved from Mexico to Canada, where her friends encouraged her to keep ministering to women – something she had enjoyed doing before her life became so painful. She began producing Low German videos from her home in Winnipeg, and quickly gained a large following. Says Eduard, “I felt honoured to be able to share this story with my audience.” Soon after, Gladys connected with Square One to partner in producing Een scheenet Läwen.
